Sprouts at the Market
Calling all kiddos! Come down to the Harbor Springs Farmers Market on Wednesdays to take part in an educational activity about the market, foods at the market, or the outdoors. After completing the activity, get a token to spend on fruits and veggies at the market. Then, head to the bookstore to find the books that inspired the activities, and continue the fun! Get 15% off featured titles all summer long!
When: Wednesdays, June 26-August 14th; 10am-12pm

Find Waldo Local
Waldo is back (and this time he’s being trailed by Odlaw) and hiding throughout town. Stop at any of the participating businesses to pick up your passport and let the search begin! Also, all month long, stop at Between the Covers, in costume, to enter any of the following best-dressed contests:

“Traveling in Their Shoes” Book Club
Read one, two, or all three of the books and attend a session to talk, write, learn, share, and laugh with the group! At book club, we'll snack, talk about who we are, who others are, and make connections among each other and the characters we are reading about. Be prepared to share whether you liked, what you've read and why, but no that THERE WILL BE NO SPOILERS!

Campfire Stories Nights
There might not be a fire, but it will be lots of fun! This year, we're going to get a jump start on summer reading. We'll read an excerpt from the first book of a series to encourage young readers to continue the series on their own. Games, snacks, activities and good company included!
When: Wednesdays, July 10-August 14, 6-8 pm
Where: Meet at Between the Covers, but (weather permitting) we will take our stories into the great outdoors! (Festival of the Book HQ is our rain site.)

Come Party Like a Dino!
Chomp, Stomp, ROAR! Come Party Like a Dinosaur! Dino stories, games, crafts and dino-mite snacks, of course! Costumes encouraged.
