SkiToberfest at Boyne Mountain Celebrates Fall & Winter

The 3rd Annual Skitoberfest is a fall extravaganza and homecoming taking place in the Boyne Mountain Village and surrounding Northern Michigan area. Skitoberfest celebrates the best of fall's family offerings in an Oktoberfest style setting and the coming winter season with a Snowsports Summit hosted by Olympian, Cary Adgate and featuring special guest, two-time Men's Snowboard Cross Olympic gold medalist, Seth Wescott. Highlights include, great food, Michigan beers, wines and spirits, plus music and endless family entertainment.The Party will be from 2pm-12am in the Village and nearby open lawn. Activities will be from 2-8pm--they include artists, beer tent, wine tasting, gourmet foods from across Northern Michigan, dancers from Crooked Tree Arts Center, horse-drawn hayrides, bonfire sing-alongs, antique cider press demonstrations, jugglers, bouncy house, balloon artist, music, kid's art projects and face painting and much more. Entertainment in the Beer Tent 8pm-12am.
The Snow Sports Summit take place from 10am-6pm with Olympic Gold Medalist Seth Wescott this year's guest speaker. Winter sports enthusiasts: get prepped on gear, technique, physical conditioning for the coming winter season.
Ski & Winter Gear Swap If you need to clear out the garage or are looking for an inexpensive solution to updating your gear this season, visit the swap area during the Snowsports Summit to benefit the Boyne City Ski Club. Shaped skis only, poles, boots, clothing, helmets and all outdoor related items.
