Hopps of Fun Beer and Wine Festival

More than 50 award-winning micro brews and more than 40 wines from Michigan wineries are on tap--literally--at the Hopps of Fun Beer and Wine Festival in Mackinaw City. This annual fa,l event is packed with good fun, hopps, and wine at the Mackinaw Crossings.Friday, September 9, 5-11pm, and Saturday, September 10, 1-11pm are the times for this festival held behind the Historic Depot Restaurant. Food is available including a pig roast on Saturday. Music by the Cheboygan Brewhouse Band, Billy Jewell Band and Uncle Ugly will entertain the crowd.
The entry cost is $5 which includes a Hopps of Fun beer or wine glass. Tokens, $1 each, can be used for a single taste for one token or full glass for four tokens.
